BOGOTA – March 19, 2015 – Publicidad y Mercadeo (Advertising and Marketing) magazine, in partnership with Advertising Age, has named Momentum Colombia General Manager Geovanna Nassar to its annual list of “Women to Watch.” The Women to Watch list highlights women making significant contributions to marketing and advertising over the past year. Comprising 300 honorees, Nassar is one of 12 selected from Colombia.
Nassar was honored for her role in helping define what brand experiences mean for her country and region. Nassar joined Momentum Colombia as General Manager in 2010, working with clients like Exxon Mobil, MIN TIC, Sab Miller and Frito-Lay. In her first year she helped the agency grow 250% while also publishing her first book, BTL: Experiences de Marca (Brand Experiences).
In 2007 she started Keypeople, a brand experience agency with DDB Colombia, receiving multiple awards from festivals like Nova, Ojo de Iberoamérica and Festival Iberoamericano de Promociones. Prior to that she was at Belcorp where in 2003 she was raised to Promotions Manager, managing brands like Cyzone, L’Ebel and Essika. She first joined the McCann Worldgroup family in 1999 as a PR and Event Account Director at McCann Erickson Colombia. She began her agency career at Marca Lintas as a former journalist with a background in cinematography.
